# About us

Source: https://www.cs2promohub.com/about-us

**CS2PromoHub** is an independent list of promo codes and sign-up bonuses for CS2 case opening, skin trading and skin marketplace sites. It covers 21 sites in 4 categories, in 9 languages.

## Who we are

We are a small editorial team of CS2 players. Texts on the site are signed "Editorial team", not with invented names or made-up experts. We are not affiliated with Valve or with any of the listed sites, apart from the referral agreements described below.

## What we do every day

- **We check codes by hand.** A person enters each code on the site itself and notes the date and what the code actually gave. That date is shown next to the code.
- **A code that stops working is marked at once** as "may not work" and loses its freshness points until we find a replacement.
- **Your votes count.** The "Did the code work for you?" question under each code tells us where to look first. Many "no" votes trigger a new check.
- **Giveaways come straight from the partners' systems** (3 sites), refreshed every two hours, with the real winners. [Current giveaways](https://www.cs2promohub.com/giveaways)
- **We respect local law.** Every day we check the public registers of illegal gambling sites in 9 countries (PL, CZ, DK, NO, CY, IT, FR, CH, EE). Where a site is listed, visitors from that country do not see its code.
- **Ratings have a source.** App store ratings are updated every day, Trustpilot scores are entered by hand with the date they were read.

## How we score and rank

Every site gets a score from 0 to 10 from five criteria: bonus value, code freshness, opinions, giveaways and availability. The rules are the same for every site and are explained in full on [how we check codes](https://www.cs2promohub.com/how-we-check-codes). The [monthly ranking](https://www.cs2promohub.com/ranking) is ordered by that score only, and the [offer comparison](https://www.cs2promohub.com/compare-offers) puts all bonuses side by side.

## How we make money

Most links and codes here are referral links. When you sign up or deposit through them, the site may pay us a commission. You pay nothing extra, and the bonus is the same or better than without a code.

Sites can also pay for a placement. Such offers are always labelled "Sponsored". A placement can move an offer up a list, but it never changes our score, the order of the ranking or the facts we show. More on our [affiliate disclosure](https://www.cs2promohub.com/affiliate-disclosure) page.

## What we do not do

- We do not run any case opening or trading site, and we hold no accounts, balances or skins.
- We never ask for your Steam login, password, two-factor codes, skins or payments.
- We do not write fake reviews, invent ratings or show dates of checks that did not happen.
- We do not use cookies or third-party trackers on the site. Details in the [privacy policy](https://www.cs2promohub.com/privacy-policy).

## 18+ and responsible play

Opening cases is paid entertainment with random results, for adults only. Most openings are worth less than they cost. Read our [responsible gaming](https://www.cs2promohub.com/responsible-gaming) page before you start.
